Financial Accountant, Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Local Government Accountant Your new role This Local Government organisation in Ipswich has a newly created role for a qualified Accountant to join their team to manage the Senior Finance Business Partners, and be responsible for budget setting and the annual Statement of Accounts . Supporting the Corporate Manager for Finance and providing day-today and strategic support to the finance teams you will be responsible for a wide range of areas including Budget Setting - Housing Revenue and General Fund Production of the Statement of accounts Treasury Management Capital Accounting Insurances VAT Commercial Finance team What you'll need to succeed Ideally you will have a local government or Public Sector background and have the technical knowledge around year-end accounting and financial reporting standards. You will have strong man management skills, and be able to present to Senior Management. You must be a qualified accountant, and have experience in complex organisations.
