Overview

We are delighted to be working with a regional care home operator who are seeking an interim Home Manager for one of their elderly care homes in Buckinghamshire. We are seeking an experienced care home manager for an initial 6 month fixed term contract, with the opportunity to apply for the permanent position if desired. The nature of the contract will be to take over from the current manager who is relocating and continue to drive forward improvement and change. Requirements: Experienced Home Manager with a Good proven track record. Minimum qualification NVQ L4 / L5. Previous experience of turnaround or service improvement. Responsibilities include: Take full responsibility for ensuring high standards of professional practice which the needs of each resident. Manage the homes budget and take full P&L responsibility. Staff recruitment and retention. Ensure that all care staff receive regular supervision and appraisal and that they receive the training and support necessary to facilitate their role. Undertake assessments and reviews. Maintain and develop links in the local community creating opportunities.
