Credit Control - Worksop - Up to £20,000 CICM Study Support - Start ASAP As a business-critical position, we are continuing to accept applications to this job role. Your new company Your new company is a commercially orientated distribution company based in Worksop. Your new role You will be part of a small Sales Ledger/Credit Control Team within the Finance Department. Reporting directly to the Credit Control Supervisor, ensuring bad debts are kept to a minimum. This is a high volume Credit Control position and the successful candidate will be expected to have a hands on approach within the role. Key Tasks Chasing debtors on a weekly basis Resolving queries Raising credit notes Send copy invoices/pods/statements etc. Reconciling remittance advises Assist within finance department when necessary Any other ad-hoc duties at request of senior management What you'll need to succeed Ideally previous experience working as Credit Controller Call handling experience Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally Capability to deal with large volumes of Debtors, queries and cash postings Ability to work as part of a small team within a bigger team Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure Strong IT and system skills Accuracy / attention to detail Good working attitude What you'll get in return Hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hour week) 1 hour lunch break Salary depending on experience Study Support for CICM (or other relevant qualification) 23 days holiday stats Free on site parking What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
