Windows 10 / W10 Deployment – Project Management/Support (Windows 10 Deployment). My client based in Surrey are looking to recruit a project candidate who has knowledge of Windows 10. The role will suit a candidate who has technical experience within Windows 10 and who is looking to work within a more project management capacity. The role: This role project manages/supports the deployment of devices to business units following agreed project planning and management protocols. This will require accurate and robust assessment of resourcing requirements and close monitoring to ensure best use of time, hardware and resource availability. Key Responsibilities Produce effective and coherent planned single pipeline of all IT work Assess business impact of work in terms of its schedule Interactively remodel plans to cope with resource conflicts and changing priorities Model work on weekly, 6 monthly, 12 monthly and 24 monthly forward views. Manage relationships with project leads, managers to ensure in partnership the delivery of overall IT improvement, service delivery and change Contribute to proactive management of programme risks and issues Develop project plans and schedule the resources Ensure all work in the pipeline has been commissioned appropriately, has been subject to the appropriate approvals and has clear user requirements and technical specifications before allocating resource to the project, escalating issues of variance from this process if necessary. Work with the leadership team to prioritise work within the schedule, as directed by the Strategic Change Board, in order to make best use of available resource in meeting business requirements. Monitor progress using project management protocols in order to provide a disciplined approach to IT planned work that is appropriate to the scale and complexity of the project and compatible with business service level requirements.
