Overview

Have you mastered tax compliance and technical matters and are looking to move into a Tax Advisory role? If this is one of your career aspirations, one of my most prestigious clients is looking for a talented Mixed Tax Senior to join their team. You will be trained and nurtured to be able to hone your advisory skills and gain lots of client face time. About the company They are a well-established, 10-Partner accounting firm and have enjoyed steady but sustained growth and need to add team members to several of their departments, including the Tax Department, to keep up with demand from several new international clients based in EMEA and APAC. They are dedicated to finding the right people for their business of providing tax, accounting and advisory services. This mixed tax role is weighted towards corporation tax, but you will have great exposure to private client tax with the possibility to specialise as you progress within the firm. Your role Working closely with a Senior Tax Manager to advise clients in their portfolio Reducing tax liability Tax residency issues Company structures Inheritance and trusts Assist with tax planning and investigation in the areas of corporation tax, VAT and property taxes Liaise with HMRC, auditors and accountants in relation to financial reporting, corporate tax and VAT enquiries Preparation and review of corporation tax returns for limited companies, sole traders and corporations, among others Being a point of reference for junior tax team members, reviewing their work Preparation and review of VAT returns: Capital Goods Scheme, Partial exemption, Group VAT, EC Sales Advisory About you You will be ATT/CTA qualified or a CTA studier Highly motivated with a can-do attitude Competitive benefits package Our client offers an extremely competitive benefits package to attract great people.
