PAID PLACEMENT YEAR – HOUSING NOT PROVIDED POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reynolds and Reynolds is looking for creative, intelligent, and self-motivated individuals who are driven to produce great software solutions. Reynolds develops application and system software for a wide variety of environments including client/server applications, browser-based applications, and mobile applications. Our development platforms include Windows, .NET, Linux, and iOS. During your placement you will gain valuable experience learning and being a part of our development process potentially including functional analysis, technical design, coding and testing. Other responsibilities include assisting with the ongoing development of coding standards and participating in the quality control activities undertaken in the team, such as test plan creation and code walkthroughs. This is an opportunity to gain experience of commercial applications development in a professional software company. REQUIREMENTS: Currently studying for a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or an Engineering discipline Ambition to pursue a career in software development Must be project, goal, and detail-oriented · Good verbal and written communication skills · The ability to research problems and identify solutions.
