Systems Administrator

We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Administor to join a rapidly growing telecoms business based in Exeter. The main purpose of the role is to provide support on all internal systems and applications. This is a great opportunity to join a new and innovative business. Responsibilities: Implementation of operational IT and OSS/BSS systems, both on-premise and cloud Maintenance and development of existing systems Maintaining effective documentation of existing and new systems Systems monitoring for performance and availability Training NOC and SOC staff on effective use of systems Assist the team manager with the development of IT OSS operational strategy and performance. Ensure all activities are compliant with company policies, in particular IT security policies, GDPR and safety policies Any other duties that might reasonably be required of you Requirements: Degree in Computer Science or similar would be desirable but equivalent qualifications will also be accepted Previous experience in a similar role Experience with Microsoft and Open Source software Experience with Office 365, Azure AD and other cloud services System administration experience – Linux and/or Active Directory Good understanding of networking principles Experience in the following would be an advantage: Cisco equipment and systems Enterprise operations ISP and OSS/BSS systems VMWare This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing business based in Exeter.
