As a leading provider of Complete Battery Systems to many progressive OEMs such as Porsche, Daimler and VAG they have built an enviable reputation for delivering highly innovative and robust Battery solutions that have contributed greatly to current NEV, BEV and PHEV models currently on the roads. Due to their success and expansion they require a Requirements Engineer to be based out of their offices in Stuttgart or Munich. The Role Technical management of projects in the offer and product development phase, i.e. from offer calculation to concept development and industrialisation Responsibility for achieving the objectives of the overall project in terms of technology, schedule, quality and cost-effectiveness; close cooperation with the overall project management Coordination and control of the sub-project managers from development and other areas Request and coordination of the required project resources with the specialist departments Monitoring of the project progress and control according to the objectives Coordination of results, deadlines and tasks with the customer Independent acceptance and checking of work orders from the customer Ensuring the timely and correct information of the overall project management or management Professional management of the project staff Knowledge of concepts for high-voltage storage systems (BEV, PHEV, 48V) Cooperation in the continuous optimization of the project management process The Person 1. Training: You must be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar topic 2. Professional Experience: You must have a minimum of 4 years experience in a Tier 1 managing Battery electrification projects and be aware of product development processes in the automotive industry 3. Personal Skills: You can work on your own initiative and have excellent communication skills. You will be able to work to deadlines whilst remaining professional at all times, plus have the ability to get the best results out of your team and mentoring people new to the industry You must be able to speak basic English and German 4.
