The Opportunity This opportunity has arisen to be the Head of Export Compliance in MBDA UK. You will lead the export control compliance policy across MBDA UK and be involved in group export compliance activities. You will directly report to MBDA-UK Managing Director Deputy and MBDA Group’s head of compliance coordination. What are we looking for? High level of expertise required in all aspects of export control: UK laws and regulations (both military and dual-use), ITAR & EAR regulations, EU regulations, international control regimes, etc. High managerial skills for leading change management projects, including for policies and procedures, tools, and the related training and communication either at national and group level. Ability to mediate and communicate when dealing with a wide range of people from different background, while engaging with transversal projects. Ability to stimulate others and influence decisions, resilient and forward thinking. What’s in it for you? This requires both expertise skills, advising skills, and the ability to translate technical requirements in strategic topics. Lead the update and manage the implementation of MBDA UK’s national export compliance policy in a consistent manner with MBDA Group policies. This includes the ability to coordinate the deployment of processes across various functions in close collaboration with various teams, as well as related training and communication material. Strengthen and deploy an export compliance assessment policy within MBDA UK, including spot checks and internal assessment phases. Contribute to the performance of internal assessments and advise for government audits required by the authorities. Network internally and externally to anticipate future regulations evolutions or any other constraints the company will have to face What’s great about the team?
