If you have a technical background in agricultural, automotive, rail or heavy machinery and an interest or experience in technical writing, we want to hear from you Job Purpose: To create and update technical publications (workshop manuals and operator manuals) to the very highest quality. The workshop and operator manuals are produced as printed books and as digital publications. To produce all content in line with authoring guidelines and authoring standards. Documentation will meet requirements to drive reuse whilst creating a consistent format for multiple brands in a global marketplace. Main Responsibilities: · Gather, collate and interpret engineering information ·Communicate with key internal and customer stakeholders · Utilise a suite of structured authoring tools and guidelines, interpret technical specifications to create customer-focused publications · Utilise CAD data and software tools · Author text, simplifying complex systems into structured and understandable content · Create concise graphic briefs for Technical Illustrators · Manage machine validation workshops in conjunction with key stakeholders · Work under your own initiative with minimal supervision · Proof-read documentation ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards Candidate: Ideally you will have experience/interest in maintenance and repair procedures throughout either agricultural/automotive/rail sectors. You will join an established authoring team in which you can learn from the very best in industry within Product Information.
