Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing have an excellent opportunity for a Supplier Quality / Quality Assurance Engineer to join an established, market-leading industrial manufacturing business based in North Leeds. Offering bespoke industrial equipment into a range of sectors, our client is looking for a Supplier Quality / Quality Assurance Engineer who wants to continually develop their skill set and grow within the business. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will contribute to the development and growth of the supply chain and business. As a Supplier Quality / Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for: -Managing supplier quality requirements -Ensuring all products supplied are to national and international recognised standards -Supplier audits -Providing support and guidance to suppliers -Product validation activities: First Article Inspections (FAI), Warranties Investigations, Change Control and Product Improvement -Compiling and maintaining supplier performance KPI's -Internal audits -Resolving supplier technical issues -Compiling and maintaining Quality plans; Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's) and control plans Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences: -Qualified Management System Lead Auditor with a minimum of 3 years' auditing experience -5 years' QMS experience -Experience working to ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 -From a manufacturing background is important -Experience working in Supplier Quality role -Strong knowledge of quality assurance tools and techniques -Able to interpret and read engineering drawings This is an excellent opportunity for a Supplier Quality / Quality Assurance Engineer to be part of an established team, which is full of experience, where you can grow and develop.
