Westworld are recruiting for an Avionics Systems Lead Engineer for our client in Bournemouth. The Avionics Systems Lead Engineer will possess an in-depth knowledge in the Design, Certification and Verification of Electrical & Avionic Systems on civil and military aircraft. covering concept to in-service activity. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: The Avionics Systems Lead Engineer will be responsible for the preparation and oversight of all supporting reports, documentation and Certification documents in compliance with Regulatory Agencies FAA and EASA & MAA In depth knowledge of the following: Certification Specification, Operational Suitability Data, Design Approved Organisation Scheme, European Military Airworthiness Requirements, Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems, Enhanced Zone Analysis Procedure, Declaration of Design Performance, Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment, Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment, Electrical and Avionic Compliance Verification, Tech Publications ATR100. EXPERIENCE: Candidates would ideally have a Degree in Avionics Systems ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: There is a potential for the successful candidate to have flexibility to work one-day in a home office, with the option to increase home office options as required and agreed.
