Overview
Position: Site Engineer/Technician Responsible to: Project Manager/Site Manager Responsible for: Site setting out Deputy for this Position: To be appointed by the Project Manager as required Minimum requirement for Position: HNC Civils and two years as an Assistant Engineer. Enka or similar approved qualification in setting out. Have WIRS (W) registration with EU Skills Level 2 (For water supply works only). Must hold CSCS Site Managers Card. PTS certificate and drug and alcohol test if working within the Rail Division. Job Description: ·To receive all drawings and information and set out sites in accordance with same. ·To provide all necessary as built drawings and information. ·To provide all calculations in respect of quantities, temporary woks and statutory authorities. ·S38 / S278 - Civils experience required ·To provide general assistance to the Project Manager. ·To carry out survey work when required on behalf of the Technical Department, to assist in Design and Build contracts. ·To keep measuring equipment in a suitable condition for accurate measurement.
