What an intersting, exciting and cahllenging time to be working within Infection Prevention and Control We are looking for a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Infection Prevention and Control Nurse Specialist to join our well established Infection and Prevention and Control Team. The applicant must have experience of working as an Infection Prevention and Control Nurse at a Band 6 or 7 level and have either completed their training in Infection Prevention and Control or working towards a recognised qualification. Successful candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate ongoing professional development. You will play a key role in the delivery of the Infection Prevention and Control Programme across the Trust. Along with audits, education, policy development and day to day clinical work, you will be responsible for a designated clinical area and will lead on projects and implementing change in those areas. The team is based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital but provides a service across two main sites, community and mental health services along with Devon Partnership Trust and the Community Infection Management Service. Requirements: Evidence of working towards or completion of a recognised qualification in IPC (Diploma/degree) Substantial IPC experience within an Acute Trust If you are enthusiastic, able to show initiative and a professional role model who wants to work as part of a proactive team, we would like to hear from you.
