Shore Medical currently serves approximately 58,000 patients across 5 sites in the Poole area.The current sites we operate from are; Parkstone Tower Practice, Heatherview Medical Centre, Wessex Road Surgery, Lilliput Surgery and Poole Road Medical Centre We are an organisation which is committed to supporting its staff to engage fully with the varied career development opportunities available in General Practice today and in the future. We have an opportunity for you to join Parkstone Tower Practice as an HCA, With the opportunity to work across all our sites if required. We are currently looking for a forward thinking self motivated Health Care Assistant who is committed to promoting clinical excellence and team-work within the NHS. If you have worked in the NHS for over 6 months, have care certificate or higher qualification then this would be a superb opportunity for you. We support our staff by arranging appropriate training in order to enhance their already accredited qualifications and support them in their work. The role is full time Monday to Friday Key Skills and Qualifications: Highly organised and can manage a wide variety of tasks Excellent IT and literacy skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Care Certificate with willingness to start NVQ 3 within 6 months of appointment if not already held Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 accordingly checks will be made with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
