The Clinical Services Manager will be responsible for the operational management of Nursing and Therapy staff team and is directly accountable to the Hospital Director. We will expect the Clinical Services Manager to lead the clinical teams to deliver our purpose to make a real and lasting difference for everyone we support. You will lead by building a culture that supports our values and puts the people we care for at the centre of what we do. Supported by the multi-disciplinary team at site and the wider group teams, you will be accountable for ensuring clinical and therapeutic interventions meets the needs of our patients and the service. The post involved participating in the Senior Management on call rota. What we’d like from you: Registered with the NMC, HCPC or Social Work England A recognised post-registration qualification together with full membership / accreditation of relevant professional institution and evidence of continuous professional development Extensive clinical and management experience Ability to harness the commitment and potential of others Fine tuned decision making skills Excellent organisational capability Effective communication skills Motivated with a strong “can do” attitude A role model to other staff - providing advice and support to promote good practice A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is essential. Passionate about providing high quality care and continuous improvement Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills essential. Forward thinking, proactive and creative The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment. High levels of integrity and boundaries Experience: Experience of working at a supervisory or managerial level within a mental health environment; minimum 2 years working as a Ward Manager or equivalent. Experience of managing a clinical budget. Strong background within leadership and people management.
