Software Test Engineer Our innovative software development client is looking for an experienced software test engineer work with the team to test their software for life science and healthcare applications. You’ll primarily test the software but will also get involved in helping with new cloud deployment and supporting new consulting projects. This role offers interesting, varied and challenging work, and the opportunity to make a real difference in a growing company. You will: Have software testing and programming experience ideally with one of the following Perl, Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript. Be a very good all-round communicator, whatever the audience. Enjoy and have a desire to self-learn and to share knowledge. Be organised, flexible and adaptable, with a questioning mind and analytical skills. Experience with any of the following is helpful, but is not essential: Test automation. Performance testing. Exploratory testing. Web services / applications (e.g. REST, HTTP, Fiddler). Agile development. Life sciences / healthcare / chemistry.
