This opportunity can be situated at either of our clients offices in Edinburgh or Dundee for a software engineer to join the venture into creating pristine software solutions for the development of next generation spacecraft flight systems. With customers across the world, ranging from universities and space agencies, exciting projects are continuing to flow in. This opportunity can allow you to have full responsibility developing elements of spacecraft flight software that interface directly with hardware or operating systems assigning your knowledge and implementing your expertise on shaping the direction of platform abstraction framework and integrating the company's code base. Below is some of the experience my client expects you to have, if you have not put a TICK beside everything, lets have a discussion on your experience so far about how it may align well with the opportunity. Experience of developing and debugging embedded/real-time systems Experience with a wide range of hardware platforms and operating systems Strong C/Java/Python skills demonstrated in a commercial environment Ability to interpret datasheets, interface control documents, protocol definitions, design specifications etc. Experience with the use of test equipment such as logic analysers, oscilloscopes etc Salary: Offering up to 45K depending on experience This is opportunity was made for a motivated engineer, someone who can work amazing within a team but can be trusted to work independently when needed, someone who enjoys problem solving and is keen on learning and implementing new ways of working.
