Care Assistants and Seniors needed in Chertsey An attractive home with a caring team Ref No. PK42583 Our client in Chertsey is a attractive and charming 60 bedded Nursing Home that is independently run and promotes the highest standards of care. The building has been extensively and lovingly renovated and refurbished in order to provide comfortable, quality care for the residents. The latest CQC report is rated 'GOOD' in all areas and the home is located in a quiet and pleaseant area of town. We are looking for care assistants who have a passion and desire to care for others and work alongside a team of care assistants to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the nursing home. Training and support will be provided to care assistants from senior care assistants who have little or no previous experience within a care home. These are full time, permanent positions and both days and nights are available. HCAs: No NVQs (£8.75ph); NVQ Level 2 (£9.00ph) Senior HCAs: £9.75-10.00ph Main duties for care assistants are as follows: Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing Keeping residents comfortable and assisting in manual handling Checking and reporting any change in residents conditions to a senior care assistant Practical Support - Making beds, preparing food & laundry Liaise with visiting family and friends Desirable: Care assistants with previous experience within a care home and NVQ's within health and social care.
