The role: Lead a team of Controls Engineers in designing and developing contol systems for complex capital equipment Work with the NPD team to create a clear strategic direction for control systems development needs, and communicate that vision to the multi-function development teams Direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of design standards and development processes Integrate and align the perspectives of a broad range of stakeholders: (Product Managers, Chief Design Engineers, Service Owners and System Operators) Skills and experience: Hold a related Engineering degree Have experience of a design/development role in a commercially demanding environment Have experience of managing the implementation of a broad range of PLC and SCADA systems and ideally control systems for electrical generator sets. Demonstrate PLC/RTU programming experience gained from deploying equipment from leading vendors. Have HMI application design and configuration experience Have extensive data communications/networks experience (Serial, Ethernet, CAN bus/ J1939, Modbus RTU) Previously had experience in project engineering/management In return you can expect a very competitive salary excellent flexible benefits package and to play a key role in the development of the company's future success, with many progression opportunities.
