Overview
Substance Misuse Nurse Interim Contract Your new company You will be working with a leading health and care charity who work with individuals, families that are affected by drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse and antisocial behaviour. The contract is to start asap - ongoing. Working hours are: 5 days per week Mon-Fri from 9 to 5pm. Based in King's Lynn. Your new role You will be required to undertake Health and Wellbeing assessments for all opiate service users and users of other drugs Undertake Nurse Alcohol Assessments for all alcohol service users Provide titration for opiate service users as part of the health and wellbeing clinics to ensure the service user achieves an optimum dose of OST. This process is supported by good communication to other team members, including community pharmacists. Provide screening for blood borne viruses (BBV), through dry blood spot testing.
