Your new company: Has an aggressive marketing and expansion plan which has been regularly taking on new staff members Modern, purpose-built offices and a great location near shops, parking and transport links Provide full accounting, strategy, insolvency and corporate finance services; added valued services such as property acquisitions and mergers and acquisitions Your role: You will have your own wide-ranging portfolio of clients, including Limited Companies, Charities and Owner-Managed Businesses; Property Groups, Publishing and Media. o Tax planning and investigation in the areas of Corporation Tax, VAT and Property Taxes o Reviewing work of Junior Tax team members, delegating and project management. Creating and managing workflows to submit within the deadlines o Monitoring and maintaining deadlines for Tax returns and payments to ensure work is completed within the agreed timetable, allocating work and assigning teams to projects o Liaise with HMRC, Auditors and Accountants in relation to financial reporting, Corporate Tax and VAT enquiries o WIP and debtors work Client contact o Sole point of contact for clients in your portfolio, handling inquires and identifying opportunities for development o Addressing queries, deciding when to escalate to Senior Management o Contributing to the company’s bottom line, cross selling the firm’s other services which includes corporate finance and insolvency o Acting on behalf of the client with HMRC Your Profile: Are CTA, ACCA or ACA qualified or QBE Are interested in professional development and keeping your skills fresh Desired systems include Excel, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero or CaseWare Competitive benefits package Because our client has a portfolio of clients who expect the best level of service, they need to attract the best people for their Mixed/Corporate Tax Manager role.
