Mid-Senior Java Software Developer - Market Risk £60,000-100,000 Bonus (10-20%), generous pension/Bens, Flexi working and Remote working. St Pauls We’re partnered with a Tier 1 investment bank with London based offices providing a wide range of trading services including their securities and investment banking arm. They’re looking for Mid, Senior and Architect level Java Developers to come in and work on their new Market Risk platform, specifically aligned to FRTB. This position will be working directly with Java and Spark underpineed by MongoDB to create a FRTB compliant Market Data Capture platform. This position will be working specifically on making this Market data Platform FRTB compliant and will see a brand new datalake using Spark. The roles would suit someone with an interest or experience around market risk, Active Pivot or Spark in addition to strong Java development skills and microservices development. They'd also love to hear from anyone looking to make the jump at the senior end from Developer to Architecture. The role would involve full lifecycle development exposing you to all areas of the business including front/middle/back office. They're a very high quality team of developers, responsible for driving through best practice techniques such as TDD and introducing new technologies to the business. Requirements - Computer Science or Software Engineering related Academics - 4yrs Java Development experience - Knowledge of Market Risk or Market Data Beneficial - knowledge of Spark or the Hadoop ecosystem
