Chief Actuary

Venture Recruitment Partners are assisting a progressive Financial Services organisation in their search for a Chief Actuary, based in Andover. In this newly created job, you will liaise with the Senior Management team on a daily basis to sustain a relevant commercial portfolio. Utilising your experience of implementing statistical pricing models, you’ll interpret market and regulatory trends, shaping the Group’s products and services. You will also be responsible for a team of 6, ensuring all Actuary processes are well documented, as well as advise and inform across the business in relation to new product development. The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary, with experience in the health insurance sector and the strength of personality to lead the Group’s Actuarial department during a period of transformation. In return my client are renowned for their fantastic working conditions, including a 35 hour working week, 36 days annual leave, and a 10% matched pension.
