Central London (Zone 1) Package: £70k – £80k car allowance bonus package One of London’s largest developers are looking for a Technical Manager to join their team on one of their flagship sites in South London. In this role you will be working on one of London’s most high profile projects delivering 1500 residential units in South London. Ideally you will have prior experience working as a Technical Manager or Senior Technical Coordinator at another developer or contractor and be keen to take on a challenging project as part of a company that offers real career opportunities for its staff. Requirements: · Ideally you will be 6 years experience in technical design / coordination of development projects. · Good architectural and engineering understanding · Management of the external consultants, local authorities, architects, contractors etc. · Must have previous experience working on RC Frame developments in London on projects of at least 10 storeys. · Directly responsible for managing the fees and budget for each development. · Responsible for producing technical design solutions within cost plan or approved appraisal budget. · Take responsibility for site evaluation, architectural and engineering design and the investigation of technical problems encountered and provision of economically viable solutions. · Ensure that Technical Department procedures are adhered to, and layouts, technical reports for land appraisal and required working drawings are provided within the agreed date schedule. · Liaise with Land / Development / Estimating / Construction / Sales Departments throughout the development process, provide technically correct information as required. · Support the Technical Director in ensuring that the Technical team are fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these, in terms of communication, training and development, and the organisation of the department’s workload.
