Systems Consultant - Software Implementation Location – Tamworth, Staffordshire Salary – 25k plus excellent benefits & car allowance IT System Consultant, Software Implementation, Data Conversion, SQL, Training, Tamworth, Staffordshire This advanced Software House based in Tamworth, Staffordshire but with good links to Lichfield, Cannock, Stoke, Birmingham and the West Midlands are looking to add a Systems Consultant to their Software Implementation team. You will have good client facing skills and this Systems role will see you providing support to the Project Managers as a technical resource to the software implementations. The role offers great scope and working alongside the Project Managers, you will support them in their project activities, including the management of data conversions, technical consultancy and technical support during project stage. Core responsibilities for this Systems Consultant role: Manage the end to end process of customer data conversions. Writing, testing and running of SQL scripts, as required. Provide a trouble shooting support. Provide technical consultancy to clients, such as data conversion schema, product configuration and training. To provide customer training and management of updates to standard training documentation. To provide regular project updates for each of the allocated projects. To provide ad-hoc technical support to the Project Managers and their customers as required, database management, internal upgrades etc. Core experience; A proven track record in a Technical Consultancy / Support role, preferably within a software house environment. Good SQL Scripting capabilities. Work to deadlines and with the ability to prioritise and manage your time, Be competent with project planning using Microsoft Project. Client facing skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage, communicate and influence both upwards and across the project teams The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions and decision makers Full clean driving license.
