This is a great opportunity to join a thriving and growing organisation The company are looking for Residential Support workers and are offing a salary based on experience of £21,500 (£23,180 with 1 sleep a week) -£22,500 (£2,4180 with 1 sleep a week) with an annual sleep in allowance of £1,680 based on 1 sleep in duty per week The organisation is highly committed to providing outstanding outcomes for the young people they care for, they have 5 homes in Surrey and West Sussex, each home is set in a rural location, so a driving licence is essential. We are looking for candidates that have previous experience of working in a similar setting, ideally with a level 3 diploma in residential care. Support Worker Role duties will include - Creating a warm and caring environment for children who live with us in our various residential settings. Day to day duties of running a home such as: food preparation, domestic duties, school run, activities and food shopping. Providing support to children who may have been subject to abuse, neglect or other issues that may impact on their ability to develop as positive young citizens. Promoting the skills required to lead productive adult lives once the children we look after leave care. Over 25 years old and can complete shift work The role involves night sleep duties UK driving licence is required for this role The company offer enrolment onto the NEST pension scheme, a great training package, a thorough induction, regular supervision and support, development into more senior roles, on top of the salary and additional annual allowance of £1,680 for one sleep in per week and 28 days annual leave.
