Overview
MB Fitzgerald are currently working with a small but well established and highly profitable firm of Independent Financial Advisers based in Harmer Hill near Shrewsbury. This company specialise in providing investment and pension advice to HNW individuals across the UK. Their current requirement is for an experienced Financial Services PA or Paraplanner to work alongside the company's Owner on a one-to-one basis. You'll be responsible for the whole back office function, from preparing client meeting packs to processing new business and writing client suitability reports. Previous Paraplanning or Administration experience within a firm of IFA's is essential. The role is based in a small, beautiful village a few miles north of Shrewsbury called Harmer Hill. Public transport links are not good so candidates must have access to a vehicle in order to commute. The Director is happy to offer flexible working arrangements; options to work from home one day per week, picking up children from school, working part time (min 4 days), even bringing a dog into the office will be considered. Therefore this could offer the perfect working arrangement for those with commitments outside of work. Salary/ package on offer is dependent on previous experience. Those who have studied towards the Diploma Financial Planning will also have an advantage although this is not essential. Candidates MUST have a good knowledge of financial services ideally including Pensions and Investments and will have used platforms such as Standard Life or Cofunds. You should be highly organised and self-motivated as you will often be working independently.
