Salary : £highly competitive valuable benefits About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Lab Technician to join an enthusiastic team, delivering Geotechnical laboratory testing services to a wide range of clients across the UK, with the UK’s number one testing, inspection and compliance company. Client focused and quality driven, we are a leading provider of Infrastructure testing services. Now we need a number of Trainee Laboratory Technicians to support the laboratory team in the preparation and physical testing of Soil and Rock samples. You will: Work under the supervision of senior staff Prepare and test soil and rocks to British and European Standard Receive on the job training with opportunities to advance within the team structure About you: We’re looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with the ability to work alone and as part of a team. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have: Be educated to a reasonable level in Maths / Science and English based subjects Be willing to learn new skills and respond to instruction Be fit for a physically challenging role and be aware of Quality and health and safety aspects of working within a laboratory environment Be production focused and willing to work additional hours when requested during busy periods.
