Overview
Rocasa Consulting is currently recruiting for an Outreach Coordinator on an ongoing temporary assignment. based in Oxford paying £17.50ph via umbrella service working full time hours. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the day to day delivery of the Reading Street Outreach Team, ensuring that shift patterns and practices are set to ensure that contact is made and sustained with all rough sleepers in the area. to oversee a team of Outreach workers, ensuring that the appropriate assessments and referrals are conducting and that there is an action plan with a clear route away from the street for those rough sleeping in Reading. Role Requirements Experience of taking a lead in developing street or community outreach services Experience of delivering and administering an assertive case management approach. Experience in motivating complex and diverse client groups to engage with support. Ability to work as part of a management team and to initiate and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, the community, the police and other external agencies. Ability to broker relationships with services and develop pathways to enable clients to make and sustain positive change. Ability to record and report work to a good standard, using IT systems as well as written records. Knowledge of the services and legislative environment regarding housing, health, work and immigration as it relates to homeless people. An ability to supervise and motivate a staff team and to support and coach skilled outreach practitioners and volunteers. The Full UK or equivalent driving license This the post holder is expected to travel inside and outside of Reading at times.
