Overview
Extra Personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Nelson. The client is looking for Production Operatives/Packers to join their team. The position is working on a fast paced production line packing light products for dispatch. The main responsibilities will be: Working within a team to ensure products are finished and packed to the given timescales Ensure that all finished stock meets the required quality standards Responsible for maintaining a clean and hazard free work area at all times Rising and issues with products to the shift To be successful you should: Be organised and accurate while working in a busy environment Be aware that quality is more important than quantity Be able to work under pressure as each day brings in new orders Have high hygiene standards (personal and professional) Shift 6am-2pm,9am-5pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am. These are temporary vacancies but could become permanent for the right candidates (based on performance and attendance). Previous experience of working in a similar environment would be beneficial, although full training is provided.
