Assistant Accountant Full Time 08:30- 17:00 Permanent Sherborne £23,000- £28,000 We are recruiting a permanent finance assistant for a well respected and professional business based in Sherborne. The position is a wide and varied finance role that will require at least 3 years experience in a transactional finance role. The position involves: Reconcile Accounts Ensuring month end accruals and prepayments are captured accurately The set-up of new accounts and products The preparation of customer account reconciliations to ensure orders can be released in line with approved credit limits. Credit control activities including the chasing of outstanding debt Collation, analysis and distribution of daily yields Preparation and maintenance of the yields for weekly accounts. Purchase and Sales Ledger duties Invoicing Month end duties Financial administration You will need to be: An excellent organiser Team player who is able to contribute to the wider team Have excellent communication skills Able to work to and meet strict reporting deadlines Confident when using Excel Experience within an accountancy practice desirable however not essential. AAT qualified, working towards or QBE What you get in return?
