Trainee Accountant - Perth - Accountancy Practice Due to internal growth, a well-established independent Chartered Accountancy firm is looking for an ambitious Trainee Accountant to join their successful Business Services team in Perth. The Company This independent chartered accountancy firm has an excellent working culture across their offices in Scotland. As the majority of their clients are owner managed SME’s across Scotland, this firm takes great pride in their customer service to clients. The Role The main duties of this role include: Assisting the management team in preparing annual accounts and management accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders Completing general bookkeeping duties Preparing VAT returns Preparing personal and corporate tax returns General administrative tasks On Offer As this role is a full-time and permanent position, the firm will offer you full study support (ACCA or ICAS qualification), generous benefits package and a competitive salary (depending on experience). Required Experience of working in an accountancy practice would be beneficial but not essential Experience or knowledge with cloud-based software’s such as Xero, QuickBooks and IRIS is preferred but not essential If you are a school/college/ university graduate, you must have a Higher in English and Mathematics or graduated with a 2:1 grade (minimum) You must have excellent verbal and written communication Works as a team player but is also able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation Demonstrate a willingness to learn and have an interest in accountancy career Please do not hesitate to contact Carla Heron at the Glasgow office for a private & confidential discussion regarding this opportunity.
