Systems Manager

NRG are delighted to be working with a manufacturing company based in North Shields in the recruitment of a Systems Manager. Previously all IT support has been out sourced to partner of theirs however due to continued success, our client is looking to bring all IT in-house. This means you will have full autonomy in the role and will be crucial to implementing their new system to streamline their transactions whilst supporting the wider company. The role · Create bespoke reports and customisations to printed forms using SSRS. · Create custom workflows and validations using C#. · Work with all areas of the business including the central office and the factory floor. · Be responsible for all technical issues that may arise as well maintaining and monitoring all systems. The person · Strong background with Microsoft SQL Server with experience of leading installs, troubleshooting, backups and upgrades. · SQL scripting skills – T-SQL / Indexing / stored procedures / complex and structured queries. · System administration of Windows server operating systems. · Knowledge of web and server side application administration. · Strong troubleshooting skills. · ERP experience is a benefit.
