Overview

Because we want you to get off to the best start with us, we are giving you an extra £250 when you join us. When you are settled in in 6 months’ time, we will give you an extra £250 for your hard work We are looking for Waking Night staff to join our friendly team. As a Waking Night Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and overnight care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with service users, supporting them in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; as is the compassion and patience needed to support. Oliver House School is an independent specialist day and residential school for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour. Our aim is to bring about the best in every young person to enable them to achieve positive experiences and progress according to their own individual abilities. The desired outcome is for young people to achieve success in accredited qualifications and to gain increased levels of independence to enable them to maximise their strengths, abilities and ambitions. We currently have employment opportunities within six community based Children’s Homes located within the Leyland, Ribbleton and Haighton areas.
