Overview

Hi, I'm currently recruiting for a Mental Health Support Worker on an ADHOC basis in Northumberland. This is to work within a mental health hospital on forensic wards with patients coming from a criminal background. With the role being on an ADHOC basis it means that you can be flexible with when you work as you get to decide what shifts and hours you want to work each week. It involves working with vulnerable individuals who have both mental health issues and a criminal background, meaning that it is likely that they will present challenging, complex behaviour. Therefore, it is essential to be trained in PMVA/MVA. It is also essential to have experience working as a mental health support worker and it is ideal to have experience within forensics, though this is not vital.
