Are you a Design Enginee r with experience of producing hydraulic schematic circuits , valves and cylinders together with all associated documentation? Do you have a proven background within the manufacture of heavy engineering equipment?If you have experience of 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor , and you’re proficient in the use of SAP , this world class business is not only offering a salary in the region of £40,000 but also offer and outstanding benefits package together with superb working conditions. What will you be doing? Reporting to the Engineering Manager, duties will include: Responsible for the design concept, layout and detail drawing work using 3D modelling and 2D Create hydraulic circuits, complex hydraulic valve blocks with multiple drilled holes and features, hydraulic cylinder parts plus stage and final assembly detailing with supporting bills of material Liaise across the business in relation to client requirements Work with both Quality and Supply Chain as necessary Organise and lead design reviews on new concepts and designs What experience do you need? You’ll already be working within a heavy engineering environment, you’ll also need: Degree educated (or similar) within an appropriate Engineering discipline. A good working knowledge of hydraulic products and their function. Knowledge of close engineering limits and fits and machining practices. Proficiency in the use of 3D Inventor and 2D AutoCAD. Experience in SAP. Confident MS Office skills Organised methodical approach with great attention to detail. Able to meet tight deadlines. Available to undertake occasional travel What are the pay and benefits? A salary in the region of £40,000 is on offer for this role together, holidays are 25 days plus bank holidays and benefits include pension, parking and excellent progression opportunities.
