Your New Employer RK Accountancy are proud to have partnered with a longstanding and highly reputable retail group based on the Fylde coast, currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to add to their close knit friendly and long established finance department. Your New Job As Assistant Accountant, you will support the finance Manager with the preparation of the management accounts, provide accurate recording of income streams following monthly reconciliations. Support with the accounts payable function, accurately posting invoices reconciling supplier statements and contacting suppliers as required. As assistant accountant you will also be responsible for posting journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations whilst providing cover for other members of staff within the finance team as and when required. Your Experience & Our Requirements Our Client is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant with a good understanding of the above listed duties. You will have a good all round knowledge of general Bookkeeping and Accounting Practices, procedures and regulations, an Advanced knowledge Excel including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables and an understanding of Microsoft Navision. You will have a minimum 3 years ‘experience within a similar finance role and will be AAT qualified. You will be able to demonstrate that you can work as an integral part of a small team with a flexible approach to work, excellent communication skills with an analytical tenacious approach able to engage and challenge in a professional manner. Your Future As The Successful Candidate You’ll receive a competitive salary of up to £24,000 per annum, with a generous holiday and benefits package.
