Hydraulic System Design Engineer Taunton Salary negotiable depending on experience 27 days holiday bank holidays Due to continued growth a Hydraulics Supplier are looking for a Hydraulic System Design Engineer. This is a great opportunity for a Design Engineer with experience with Hydraulic / Fluid Power Systems experience to join other Hydraulic Engineer s with expertise in the industry. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Design Hydraulic Systems solutions in accordance with customers' requirements. Use of AutoCAD LT 2D CAD to design & generate hydraulic circuits for manufacture. (Use of Solidworks 3D CAD to generate design arrangements would be beneficial) Ensure that all proposals put forward comply with the relevant statutory requirements and meet best practices as defined by the British Fluid Power Association Take charge of key design projects Take responsibility for the on-time completion of all engineering design projects, pre and post contract About you: You must have experience working in the fluid power engineering industry or a similar field of engineering. You may have an HNC / HND in a relative Engineering discipline or similar qualification(s) / BFPA (British Fluid Power Association) / NFPC (National Fluid Power Centre) approved qualifications. You must have in depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, hydraulic system design with ability to design, and read hydraulic circuit diagrams and complete relevant hydraulic formulae & calculations. Commercial awareness for costs to manufacture.
