Overview
Due to recent expansion, our client, a prestigious market leader, is looking for an experienced, motivated and professional IT Support Technician to provide 2nd line technical support for their external clients. To support the team in the installation, configuration and overall maintenance of specialised equipment. You will be liaising directly with the clients and provide technical support through multi-media. You will be responsible for managing the help desk system efficiently and logging all support tickets. Required skills: - Excellent knowledge of using Windows operating systems - Knowledge of installing and maintaining software applications in Windows environment - Ability to fully configure, install and test solutions on equipment - Proven methodical approach to fault diagnosis - Previous experience installing hardware components - Experience of working with remote support tools - Ability to work with a team and also individually with little supervision - Be confident, approachable and have a "can-do attitude" The perfect candidate for the role will have a logical and methodical approach to problem solving, attention to detail and excellent organisation skills. In addition, you will be able to build excellent rapport with customers on various platforms and convey technical information to a non-technical audience. This role, therefore, needs an excellent communicator who is able to multi-task effectively.
