Metrology Engineer - Laser Tracking

Morson International currently have an opportunity available for a Metrology Engineer (Laser Trackers) to work for one of our prestigious Aerospace clients in Yeovil, Somerset. This is to work within their Central Tooling Department. You will be responsible for providing a Mechanical Metrology Calibration, Validation and Inspection service within an Aerospace Tooling environment. Key Accountabilities: Calibration of jigs, fixtures and associated tooling media using conventional/3D measuring techniques Providing fault investigation solutions, through verification methods for Aircraft build anomalies using conventional/3D measuring Carry out aircraft structure alignments and verification using Laser Tracker 3D measuring systems Generate calibration/inspection reports and procedures for tooling and aircraft components Applicants are required to have experience within Laser Tracker and 3D measuring If you have the required experience and would like to be considered, please apply today or contact Courtney for more information.
