Warehouse Operative

Temp to perm warehouse packer and van driver required in Cheltenham, GL51, Monday to Friday overtime, Full time contract after completing the first 12 weeks, paying £8.75ph. The company require a warehouse packer who is able to drive a van and is willing to obtain or has a FLT licence. They offer the design, manufacture and supply of bespoke transit packaging from large timber containers to small cardboard packs. They are a multi-material converter that work with wood, fibreboard, solid board, foam, plastics and metal. Their products protect a multitude of items ranging in complexity, fragility, size and environmental requirement. Duties Include: Driving transit van to customer sites to deliver or collect goods. Assisting in the warehouse and production when required. Using a FLT when required. Warehouse packing of components to SPIS and Commercial Standard into Poly Envelopes, Cartons and Cases under supervision. Complete all tasks within permitted time scale. Compliance with onsite Health and Safety Regulations. There may be an amount of heaving lifting involved at times. To be Successful: Good Reliability & Timekeeping. Good communication skills and a good level of English. Have a full UK driving licence. Pass DBS security clearance. Positive, hardworking attitude with a drive to succeed and happy with repetitive work. Happy to work Monday 7.45 - 16.15, Tues - Thurs 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 13:00.
