Field Sales Engineer - Sensors/Controls £Excellent basic commission, FE quality car benefits Northern half of UK This established, global multi million pound organisation manufactures and distributes sensing control products for automation. They are family owned with a real passion for continuous improvement including regular investment in R & D. Whilst they operate across a variety of sectors, the current requirement is for their mobile machinery sector. This includes municipal vehicles, agricultural and forestry machinery, port facilities, cranes and construction machines. Reporting to the General Manager, and working as part of a team, you will be covering the Northern half of the UK from the top of Birmingham, across to North Wales and Grimsby upwards. You'll be growing existing accounts and developing new business including the generation of technical proposals and project management. You should be educated to a minimum of HNC standard and will have first class electrical knowledge combined with practical experience in the industry. A strong knowledge of PLC's is essential with experience of field bus systems such as CAN and Ethernet preferred. Additional knowledge of telematics systems and machine vision would be advantageous. You may already be in a relevant sales role looking for your next career move or you could be in an engineering role looking to break into sales. You should be commercially astute, an outstanding communicator and IT literate with a real will to win. You should also be comfortable covering a large geographical area.
