Overview

Role: Data Controller Type: Permanent Salary: 26-32k plus Laptop, Mobile Phone, Death in Service (2 x Salary) Location: Chepstow South Wales Cove are recruiting for an experienced Data Controller to join an exceptional privately-owned organisation spanning over 50 years’ experience within their field. Your role will be varied and interesting it will see you covering three main elements. You need to have high attention to detail and be familiar with dealing with big data across business platforms. Your experience working with systems and Excel will be vital. Role responsibilities: Hire and Logistics Control and administer the hire and logistics function of all asset movements between sites. Updating asset database with the asset moves and contract information. Liaise with haulage firms, site personnel and customers to ensure a seamless logistics process throughout the business Training Department Collate cards/certifications when training carried out and update Natural HR system with training records Running weekly reports showing training records that are shortly expiring Health & Safety Department Collate, log and update Near Misses, Toolbox Talks, Safety Files and Site Safety Audits Business Management Document recording (ad-hoc duty when control documents created/updated) Various reporting for set periods and ad-hoc requests. Potential, workload dependent, on some marketing/advertising administration to support the Sales Team. Requirements: 2 years’ experience required within administrative/reporting role Extremely high level of organisation is compulsory, with the ability to multi-task across different departments and duties simultaneously High standard of communication skills (telephone, email and interpersonal) – will be expected to liaise with customers, suppliers and site-based employees ·Required to work independently and as part of a team, depending on task IT proficient – excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) Knowledge of an asset management system/database software systems would be ideal but any training will be provided Experience or interest in the construction industry, logistics and/or Health & Safety preferred The package : Salary £26,000 to £32,000 per annum plus Benefits: Laptop, Mobile Phone, Death in Service (2 x Salary) Hours: 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday Holidays: 20 days plus statutory bank holidays with further options based on seniority and length of service Free parking Excellent working environment Career progression opportunities We have worked with our client for a long time and this is an excellent opportunity for someone that is looking to join a rewarding company.
