3rd Line Support Engineer - Leeds SearchDATA is searching for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join a Central Leeds based professional services firm. We're looking for someone with a broad knowledge across Server, Storage, Network & Telephony to provide support to a group of companies. The ideal candidate would have plenty of experience managing Windows Sever environments and would be able to bridge a skills gap within Microsoft System Center. Work closely with the IT Systems Engineer on infrastructure and server support issues arising, giving assistance when required. Work out of hours to implement major system releases as needed, as well as being part of 24x7 'on call' support rota for approximately one week in three for emergency support calls on all systems and infrastructure. Technical Requirements Essential Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server including full installation Knowledge of networking (WAN / LAN /Routers / Switches / Firewalls) Knowledge of Storage and Backup tools Ability to build VM's (HyperV or VM Ware) Desirable Microsoft Exchange Server Informix Dynamic Server Microsoft Systems Center (SCOM, SCCM, SCSM, Orchestrator) Understanding of regulated environments SearchData Group are the first choice for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics recruitment across the UK and internationally.
