JOB DESCRIPTION FOR: AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER LOCATION: OSWESTRY JOB TITLE: AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER SALARY: COMPETITIVE (depending on experience) HOURS: 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday(45 hours), 8.00am - 12.00pm Saturdays if required (Overtime 1.5 on all hours over 40) THE COMPANY: Our client is a family run business of agricultural engineers based in Oswestry, Shropshire and are main dealers for Kubota. The company have been providing sales and repairs for tractors/agricultural machinery and Land Rovers since 1970. As a small, close knit team they also supply many of the other leading agricultural brands. With an exclusive background in agriculture, our client's team are dedicated, hardworking, knowledgeable and have built up a good working relationship with farmers in the local area and beyond. THE ROLE: Our client is seeking to appoint an Agricultural Engineer to work alongside their workshop team. The chosen candidate will be working within a close-knit team in a family firm testing, diagnosing & repairing a variety of agricultural machinery (chiefly, Kubota tractors and machinery). The work will be carried out either in the company's workshop or out on location. Are you/Do you have?: Previous experience working with and knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrics IT literacy that will enable the use of various diagnostic equipment Recent experience in a similar agriculture engineer role A full UK Driving Licence Punctual Polite Motivated Professional attitude Happy to work alone or as part of a team Key responsibilities of the role: Working at the company workshop or on-site locations Test agricultural vehicles and machinery (Kubota, Yamaha etc.) Diagnose & repair agricultural vehicles and machinery Benefits of the role: Competitive salary Company van Manufacturer training Work-based pension Overtime at 1.5 rate 20 days annual leave bank holidays Does this sound like you?
