Staff Assist UK have a number of opportunities for Class 2 HGV / LGV Cat C Drivers to join our Trade waste team My client is a commercial waste management company specialising in waste collection and disposal services in London and the South East of England 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Established in 2011, the company has grown from its humble beginnings as one man and a van to one of the leading waste carrying operators in the South East of England; specialising in wait and load collections, rubbish clearances, junk removal and scheduled trade waste services operated by a fleet of 3.5t boxed tipper vehicles, trade waste truck and a flat bed truck that’s ideal for delivery of commercial wheelie bins and collection of bulky items. Key Responsibilities • You must have experience driving a dust cart • Ensure vehicle and plant are safe to operate • Compliance with legislation -driver’s hours, highway regulations • Vehicle security including equipment & plant. • Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records • Care of duty to self & others • Ensure vehicle and cab are kept clean Key Competencies • Class 2 LGV driving licence • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) • Professional and organised approach • Good time management / ability to work under pressure • Effective communication skills • Displays initiative • Self-motivated / stand-alone capabilities • Flexible If you suit the above requirements, then don't hesitate to contact us on the below contact details:
