Overview
Hampton's Resourcing are currently working in partnership with a large privately owned Health and Social Care provider with the recruitment of a Registered Manager for their 34 bedded residential service supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and Complex needs, based in the Nottinghamshire area. The service is currently rated Requires Improvement with CQC and needs a strong and experienced manager to turn the service around and provide the stability that s need for both the service users and the staff team. The Role The appointed Manager will be expected to provide a needs led service for adults with learning disabilities by adopting a person-centred approach that fosters self-awareness, personal growth and gives each person the strongest voice with regards to decision making and lifestyle choices. You will be expected to work together with the quality team and wider management support to devise an action plan to ensure all aspects of the care provided and the management of the home meet with the National Care Standards Act 2000, the requirements of CQC and contract compliance, together with all other relative legislative requirements. Candidates suitable for this post will be able to demonstrate: Strong Management Experience ideally successfully turning around a failing service Significant experience of working with adults with Learning disabilities and Complex needs Strong Team Management Skills Experience of managing a service of a similar size Good relationship building skills; Internal & external stakeholders, local authority, CQC Experience of delivering training and undertaking coaching NVQ Level 5 or be willing to work towards The ability to write reports and to chair meetings Annual Salary: £42,000 Bonus Package Excellent company benefits Training and Development Opportunities for future progression
