Overview
Community & Events Officer, an opportunity to join a growing Health Charity, based in West London. You will join a small, successful and extremely welcoming team, working across Community and Events. As the Community & Events Officer, working with the Community & Events Manager, you will help to create, promote and manage an engaging, varied and exciting programme of fundraising events that encourages fundraisers and financial donors to support the charity. You will develop external relationships with individuals and organisations, so that supporters are taken on an engaging journey that fosters long term support. Also identify and research opportunities to maximise income. Our client is looking an enthusiastic individual with experience of working in a customer-facing/fundraising role, including experience of face to face contact with individuals and groups of supporters. With a proven track record in supporting and giving advice to supporters to encourage them to develop their ideas and plans. Also, excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills including the ability to deal with people at all levels and in all walks of life, on the telephone and by letter/email.
