Overview

We're looking for a Registered Manager to work for a Domiciliary Care provider in Swindon, who are passionate about delivering the highest levels of professional care that is tailored around their client's individual needs. As the Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the day to day running of the domiciliary care branch, ensuring that staff are well supported to carry out their individual roles, that compliance is met, and an outstanding rating is aimed for. The Registered Manager Role As the Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the care delivery within a branch that provides personalised domiciliary care for people living within their own homes across Swindon. The branch needs a little TLC in terms of compliance, we're looking for somebody with a can-do attitude who will quickly get things done - supervisions, spot checks, reviews etc. need to be ensured that they are in date and compliant with CQC standards. That being said, this is a great branch, relatively small provision with a full staff team in place, previous track history for always being good with CQC and having a favourable reputation in the community and supportive company to work for. Specifically, you'll Ensure that CQC compliance is met, that the Good rating is maintained but work towards an Outstanding rating Delegate tasks to staff members such as assessments, reviews, supervisions, appraisals, spot checks and ensure that tasks have been completed and recorded effectively. Ensure compliance with the Local Authority contract Taking on new care packages, ensuring that all new clients have a smooth and professional transition to the company Ensure that a recruitment strategy is in place for carers and that new staff have a good experience of induction training and starting work to ensure retention of staff Take the lead on all HR matters to include disciplinary and grievance processes, managing staff absence and annual leave Training and Development - Ensure that all staff have a through induction training, receive training updates on time and have ample opportunity to grow and development in their roles Managing any safeguarding processes The Successful Candidate You'll be an experienced Manager of domiciliary care services, with good coaching and leadership skills, the ability to motivate and influence a staff team Ideally, you'll have been Registered with CQC previously, though we will consider non-registered Branch Managers and Deputy Managers too You'll have a can-do attitude with the ability to work autonomously and ensure that all tasks are delegated and completed. You'll have a track record in achieving Good or Outstanding ratings with CQC You'll have some experience of working with Local Authorities and managing contract compliance You'll need to be qualified to NVQ4 / QCF 5 in health and social care Will be passionate about working in social care and delivering a service that focuses on people's individual needs.
